Because of rain in the area and a late start time, the Texas Tech Red Raiders won’t start their College World Series game against Arkansas until Wednesday morning.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at 7:05 p.m. CT, but the Texas-Florida game ran long, delaying the Red Raiders’ start. Some inclement weather was destined for Omaha on Tuesday night, and the NCAA made the decision to reschedule the game for Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. CT.
Texas Tech shocked Florida, the defending national champions, in its first game of the CWS on Sunday. The loser of the Texas Tech-Arkansas game Wednesday morning will take on Florida, who beat Texas in an elimination game on Tuesday.
You can watch the Red Raiders play Arkansas on ESPN2.
