Texas Tech lost a little depth in the secondary on Monday when Abraham Wallace announced that he would be transferring from the school.
After much prayer and consideration, I want to announce that I’m transferring from Texas Tech. I want to thank all of my coaches and everyone involved with the Program for the opportunity! pic.twitter.com/RSb2wdBQIX

Wallace was a walk-on at LSU, and got his degree in three years. As a redshirt sophomore, he transferred to Texas Tech with two years of eligibility remaining, and decided to leave after one of those years.
Should he transfer to an FCS school, he would still have a year of eligibility remaining, and be eligible immediately.
Wallace recorded one tackle for Texas Tech per ESPN stats, in the opening game of the season against Eastern Washington. ESPN defensive statistics are not considered official.
