Texas Tech football has scheduled a future home-and-home series with Oregon State, athletic director Kirby Hocutt announced on Thursday.
The Red Raiders will host the Beavers on Sept. 13, 2025 in Lubbock, Texas. Texas Tech will then travel to Corvallis, Ore. on Sept. 12, 2026, per the announcement.
The two schools last faced each other in 1959 — a game which Texas Tech won by a score of 15-14 in Lubbock.
Texas Tech already has future matchups scheduled with several other teams from the Pac-12 Conference. The Red Raiders have a home-and-home series in place with Arizona from 2019-2020 and with Oregon from 2023-2024. Texas Tech completed a series with Arizona State last September.
With the Oregon State news, Texas Tech will now face a Pac-12 opponent six out of eight seasons from 2019-2026 and a Power 5 team from the state of Oregon in four consecutive seasons from 2023-2026.
