McIvor gives the Red Raiders 11 commits in the 2019 class, which is now No. 36 nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings.
He is the No. 18-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the country and the No. 89 overall player in Texas. As a junior in 2017, he threw for 3,415 yards, 43 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He also ran for 870 yards and 8 touchdowns.
In 2019, McIvor would join a quarterback room that includes McLane Carter, Jett Duffey and 2018 signee Alan Bowman.
