Texas Tech is one of the final schools competing for the nation’s top junior college recruit, Stephen Guidry.
The 4-star wideout from Hinds (Miss.) Community College announced his top five schools Friday afternoon. The Red Raiders made the cut, along with Arizona State, LSU, Mississippi State and Oregon.

Guidry is the No. 1 JUCO recruit in the class of 2018, according to the 247Sports Composite. He de-commited from LSU in April. He was also once committed to South Carolina. He holds offers from Alabama, Georgia and Louisville as well.
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, he had 547 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns in 8 games in 2016, according to NJCAA.com.
