The Texas Tech Red Raiders beefed up their defensive line with the commitment of defensive end Tony Bradford, Jr., a member of the Class of 2019.
Bradford, who hails from Galena Park North Shore High School near Houston, Texas, announced his commitment to Texas Tech on Twitter Friday.

In 247Sports’ ranking, Bradford is a 3-star prospect. He checks in as the No. 94 weakside defensive end in his class and the No. 252 player overall. At 6-foot-flat and 239 pounds, he’s undersized for a typical end, although a collegiate strength program could help build the size he needs.
Bradford also held offers from Arizona, Purdue and Washington State, among others. He is the second defensive end to commit to Texas Tech’s 2019 class, behind 4-star Steven Parker.
