Texas Tech will open the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock on Sunday for a viewing party when the Red Raiders men’s basketball team faces Villanova in the Elite Eight, the university athletic department announced.

The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. CT with free parking available for those attending. Texas Tech and Villanova are scheduled to tip off at 1:20 p.m. CT, with a trip to the Final Four in San Antonio on the line.
Fans attending have been instructed to enter the building through the Northwest and Southwest areas of the arena.
Texas Tech is playing its first Elite Eight game in program history after defeating Purdue on Friday. Three Big 12 teams are competing for a trip to the Final Four this weekend, as Texas Tech is joined by Kansas and Kansas State. All three are in different regions of the tournament.
