Ramey is a 4-star recruit and the No. 9 point guard in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite.
Louisville and Missouri coaches also are expected to make an in-home visit to Ramey, who attends Webster Groves High School in St. Louis.
Currently, Ramey is projected to choose Villanova, according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
The Longhorns have four commitments in their Class of 2018. They’re ranked No. 2 in the Big 12 and No. 14 in the nation, thanks to a pair of 4-star commits, Gerald Liddell and Kamaka Hepa. Signing Ramey would be the icing on the cake for a recruiting class that’s already solid.
