Sophomore defensive lineman Greg Rogers has officially left UCLA.
UCLA coach Chip Kelly announced on Tuesday that Rogers is no longer with the program, per 247 Sports.
The news of Rogers’ decision to transfer comes as no surprise. The defensive lineman requested a release earlier this month and it was granted.
Rogers participated in a few spring practices in March before injuring his knee. He’s missed the last several spring practices since suffering the knee injury.
The sophomore was expected to get more playing time this year after hardly playing as a freshman.
