Fox Sports personality Colin Cowherd appeared on his radio show on Wednesday and rated the top quarterback prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Cowherd shared his thoughts on UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen’s potential in the NFL. He compared Rosen to two noticeably different quarterbacks in segment he proclaimed his “high end/low end comparison.”
Cowherd proclaimed that Rosen’s peak potential is Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers
“Smart, a little arrogant, size isn’t ideal, remarkable arm talent, little bit of an independent thinker and doer, wins but may never be truly beloved. That’s the high end and Aaron [Rodgers] is amazing,” Cowherd said on Fox Sports. “I think Rosen’s high end is Aaron Rodgers.”
Cowherd then went on to explain who he thinks Rosen’s lesser comparison is.
“I think his low end is Sam Bradford. Josh Rosen’s durability is a huge concern with the scouts I talked to. Both Rosen and Bradford were hurt in college. They are both technically sound but are they going to carry average talent.”
The Fox Sports personality is leaning more toward Bradford connection than Rodgers when it comes to Rosen.
Rosen is projected to be a top-10 pick in the NFL draft.
Cowherd also did the “high end/low end comparison” with Sam Darnold, Lamar Jackson and the other quarterbacks in this year’s draft. Take a look at the video below:
