Jerry Neuheisel is living his dream as a graduate assistant at UCLA.
The former Bruins quarterback is happy that the beginning stages of his coaching career has him back in Westwood.
“This is my dream school. This is where I want to be. I would never want to leave this place and I still think I owe this place a Rose Bowl at some point,” Neuheisel said, per the Los Angeles Times’ Ben Bolch.
Neuheisel played quarterback at UCLA from 2013-2015. He then began his coaching career at Texas A&M. He was on the Aggies’ staff in 2017.
UCLA coach Chip Kelly hired Neuheisel as a graduate assistant in January. Neuheisel has been helping out Bruin quarterbacks during spring practices.
