Ball was limited to 52 games last season, his first in the NBA after being taken second overall by the Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft. He averaged 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game and made the All-Rookie Team despite missing 30 contests because of knee issues.
He missed six games in late December and early January, then sat out 15 of 16 contests leading up to the All-Star break. Ball was shut down for the final eight games of the 2017-18 season as well.
