Beyond Arizona’s Deandre Ayton, the presumptive No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft on Thursday, there’s a lot of uncertainty as to who else from the Pac-12 Conference could get taken and when.
If there’s one other player who is likely to go in the first round from the Pac-12, though, it’s UCLA guard Aaron Holiday. And according to Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman, it could be higher than originally thought.

Wasserman projects Holiday to go “somewhere in the teens” after impressing scouts and teams with his “shooting and solid, strong frame.” He’s cited the fact Holiday has been invited to attend the draft from the green room as another reason the Bruins’ top scorer and assist man from the 2017-18 season should hear his name called fairly early on Thursday.
“There’s been talk that multiple teams could be trying to trade up, down or into the mid-first round for Holiday,” Wasserman said.
