Any hope of Aaron Holiday returning to UCLA ending on Monday.
The junior guard hired agent Charles Briscoe, per Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania. Holiday’s decision to hire Briscoe of Premier Sports Council officially terminates his NCAA eligibility status.
Holiday choice comes as no surprise. The guard announced in March that he would forgo his senior year for the 2018 NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-1 point guard was UCLA’s best player all season. He averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds a game for the Bruins and was named a first-team All-Pac-12 member.
Holiday’s two older brothers are already in the NBA. Guard Jrue Holiday (UCLA alum) plays for the New Orleans Pelicans and Justin Holiday (Washington alum) is a forward for the Chicago Bulls.
