Chase Strumpf has earned yet another accolade.
Strumpf was named a second-team All-American by D1Baseball and Perfect Game, the publication announced, per the UCLA Athletic Department.
The UCLA second baseman ended the regular season leading the Bruins in batting average (.363), runs (59), home runs (12), slugging percentage (.633) and on-base percentage (.475).
Strumpf has totaled a batting average of .307, 83 RBI, 82 runs scored and 19 home runs in two seasons in Westwood. He was also named second team All-American by Collegiate Baseball earlier this year.
