Cooley, rated a four-star prospect and the 5th best WR in California according to Scout, selected the Bruins over offers from other Pac-12 schools Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon, as well as Illinois, Purdue and Fresno State.
He has transferred to national powerhouse St. John Bosco for his senior season. Cooley is a versatile, dynamic playmaker and can also play on the defensive side of the ball.
He is the 16th commitment for UCLA so far for the 2018 class, according to 247 Sports. The Bruins rank 14th nationally at this point in the recruiting cycle.
