It never rains in Southern California. At least that’s what Tony Toni Tone said. We know that’s not true, though, and former USC quarterback Sam Darnold might have to deal with rainy conditions on Wednesday.
Rain is in the forecast for Wednesday in Los Angeles. But rain or shine, Darnold will throw at the USC’s pro day, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Darnold decided not to throw at the 2018 NFL Combine. His choice not to participate in all the drills drew some criticism. Yet, he is still projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Inclement weather might be a blessing in disguise for Darnold. The Cleveland Browns own the No. 1 overall pick in the draft and are looking for a quarterback (as they seem to be every year). Bad weather comes with the territory in Cleveland.
