USC Trojans defensive back Iman Marshall has announced that he will be returning to school for his senior season.
Marshall announced the decision via his Instagram account on Friday.
“I came to USC three years ago with big expectations for myself and for this university,” wrote Marshall. “Want to help bring this University back to the top and feel we got a lot more left to accomplish, time to go and get it! It’s an honor to be a Trojan. Fight On Forever…”
Marshall was a All-Pac-12 honorable mention in 2017. In 11 games this season, Marshall made 51 tackles and broke up 10 passes. In his career, Marshall has 6 interceptions and has broken up 27 passes.
Marshall is expected to be one of the defensive leaders next season and should help keep some continuity in the secondary.
