USC QB Sam Darnold is in New York this week to meet with the New York Giants and New York Jets. The Giants and Jets hold the No. 2 and No. 3 picks respectively in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft. Darnold will meet with the Giants on Monday and the Jets on Tuesday.
Darnold is widely expected to be one of the top three picks in the draft, which begins on Thursday, April 26 in Arlington, Texas.

The Giants and Jets both have veteran starting QBs in Eli Manning and Josh McCown. The Jets also signed former Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater 1-year deal. However, the Jets are in the market for a young QB and are likely to select either Darnold, UCLA QB Josh Rosen, Wyoming QB Josh Allen or Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield with their first-round pick.
The Cleveland Browns hold the No. 1 pick in the draft and are rumored to be selecting either Darnold or Allen with their first pick.
