On Friday evening, Utah forward Chris Seeley announced that he would be transferring from the program.
“I have nothing but love for my teammates, fans, the university, and the city,” he wrote on Twitter. “After discussing with my family, at this time I have decided to ask for my release and explore other opportunities. Thank you for all your support, I appreciated my time at Utah, Go Utes.”

Seeley played just one season for Utah, averaging 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. His minutes were significantly reduced by season’s end, reaching double digits just once in the final eight games.
Seeley was a two-star recruit from Central High School in Fresno, Calif.
