247Sports hasn’t given Shadley a star rating, but the player rankings at chrissailerkicking.com have the Florida native No. 1 among all long snappers in the 2018 class. Shadley, 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds, also received offers from Oregon, Marshall and Florida International.
The 2018 recruiting class for Virginia Tech is ranked fourth in the ACC, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Shadley is the 18th recruit for the Hokies in the class.
