It has been a decade since longtime Wake Forest basketball coach Skip Prosser passed away tragically at the age of 56.
On Wednesday, Wake Forest basketball’s Twitter account posted its thoughts on what “is always a tough day” for the community, saying Prosser “will forever be a part of Demon Deacon basketball and for that, we are eternally grateful.”

Prosser, who passed away unexpectedly in Winston-Salem, went 291–146 in his coaching career. He coached for six years at Wake Forest, proceeded by six years at Xavier. He made 18 postseason appearances in 21 seasons, coaching the likes of Chris Paul along the way during his most successful run at Wake Forest.
