Twitter can present complications for some folks especially the ones who are new to the social media platform, but Washington State head coach Mike Leach said Wednesday he enjoys it.
Leach appreciates Twitter for two reasons: “Promoting Washington State football” and exposing Texas Tech for his termination with the Red Raiders in 2009 when he was fired for allegedly ordering TTU wide receiver Adam James to stand in an equipment closet.
James had concussion symptoms and Leach told the New York Times in 2010 ordered him to “get out of the light”. The school ordered Leach to apologize and since he refused to, it resulted in the firing after he signed a five-year, $12.7 million extension in 2008.
Leach filed a lawsuit against the university and all of the claims were dismissed except for sovereignty immunity.
