At 11:05 a.m. PT, Chris Petersen tweeted “WOOF!” which is Petersen-speak for “We just landed another huge recruit.”

And indeed his Washington Huskies did, earning a commitment from three-star linebacker Nicholas Bolton, a 5-foot-11, 235-pound inside linebacker out of Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas.
Bolton has enjoyed a decorated career in Frisco, earning the 9-5A District Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, and has been the Defensive MVP of his district the following two seasons. He’s now the fourth Texan in Petersen’s class of 2018, which includes 3-star defensive end/linebacker Myles Rice, 3-star defensive end Levi Onwuzwrike, and 3-star wide receiver Aaron Fuller.
